Groups at Garden of the Gods Trading Post
Garden of the Gods Park and the Garden of the Gods Trading Post are major stops for motor coach tours visiting Colorado. Both local and trans-continental tours find the Trading Post provides an outstanding experience for travelers. Tours to the area should allow a minimum of an hour and a half to visit the park and the Trading Post.
The Garden of the Gods Trading Post is one of the premier food service locations for motor coach tours. We serve multiple tours of various sizes throughout the summer season. Please make sure you call ahead so we can better prepare to serve your group. Driver and Guide lunch comp is extended. If your group only has a short amount of time, the Trading Post offers snacks and cold beverages that are easily transported.
There are several parking lots within the Garden of the Gods Park that are motor coach friendly. Guests can get out and take pictures or choose from several hiking trails within the park. Restrooms are located at the Trading Post as well as the main parking lot. You may also obtain additional information on pull off locations at the Trading Post.
The Trading Post and the Garden of the Gods Park is best reached by taking US24 West Expressway off of I-25 (Exit 141) to the Manitou/Garden of the Gods exit. After exiting the freeway, keep to your right, and follow the signs to the Garden of the Gods. The Trading Post is just past Balanced Rock.
Please note that the entrance through the Balanced Rock is quite narrow but there is enough room for a motor coach. If the driver has problems, he may go through Balance Rock in the reverse with proper traffic management of the normal one-way road.
